PCCA Coach and AD of the Year to be honored at Fall Awards Dinner

PCCA Coach of the Year Matt Demarest of PCTI and PCCA AD of the Year Dave Drozjock will both be honored at the PCCA Fall Awards Dinner on Wednesday November 8, 2023, 7:00PM at the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ.

In the 2022 season, Coach Demarest led PCTI's football program to it's fourth State Sectional Championship in the program's history, also earning a spot in the first NJSIAA Group 5 Football Championship Game. Coach Demarest was named PCCA Football Coach of the Year and the NJFSA Group 5 Coach of the Year. In the winter, he also was a coach for the PCTI wrestling program that won a North 1, Group 4 Sectional Championship.

In the Fall of 2022, Drozjock was named AD of both Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills high schools. Overseeing both athletic programs, the Wayne schools combined for eleven division titles, ten county titles, and four state sectional titles to go with ten coaches who were honored as Division Coach of the Year and eight who were honored as County Coach of the Year. His first year as Wayne AD also saw 103 athletes from Wayne who were selected First Team All County.
