Remembering Bob Dondero

The PCCA mourns the passing of legendary coach and longtime PCCA Executive Committee member Bob Dondero. Bob was a beloved figure in Passaic County and New Jersey high school athletics.

Bob's coaching career spanned over 35 years where his teams captured multiple conference, county, and state sectional titles, and he was a six-time Coach of the Year recipient and PCCA Coach of the Year in 2008. He was inducted into the NJSCA Hall of Fame in 1986, the Paterson Old Timers Hall of Fame, and the West Milford Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018. But beyond the accolades, he’ll be remembered for being a model coach, mentor, friend and person.

Our thoughts are with Bob's wife Marilyn, his son Darren and all of Bob's family and friends. We will sorely miss him.
